How to update the channels files with the latest RMSGW Linux software upgrade?

First Add - AUTHMODE= SGL to the Gateway.conf file.
   example of Gateway.conf
GWCALL=K4GBB-10
GRIDSQUARE=EL88TX
CHANNELFILE=/etc/rmsgw/channels.xml
BANNERFILE=/etc/rmsgw/banner
LOGFACILITY=LOCAL0
LOGMASK=ERROR
AUTHMODE=SGL

Second - edit the Channels.XML
add
  <!ELEMENT channel (basecall, callsign, gridsquare, frequency, mode,
              autoonly, baud, power, height, gain, direction, hours,
-             groupreference, statuschecker)>
+             groupreference, servicecode, statuschecker)>
     <!ATTLIST channel name CDATA #REQUIRED>
     <!ATTLIST channel type CDATA #REQUIRED>
     <!ATTLIST channel active CDATA #REQUIRED>

   <!ELEMENT basecall (#PCDATA)>
   <!ELEMENT callsign (#PCDATA)>
+  <!ELEMENT password (#PCDATA)>
   <!ELEMENT gridsquare (#PCDATA)>
   <!ELEMENT frequency (#PCDATA)>
   <!ELEMENT mode (#PCDATA)>
   <channel name="0" type="fpac" active="yes">
     <basecall>K4GBB</basecall>
     <callsign>K4GBB-10</callsign>
+    <password>MYPASSWD</password>
     <gridsquare>EL88TX</gridsquare>
     <frequency>145030000</frequency>
     <mode>0</mode>

When you have made the changes run
     rmsgw -P 0 -l debug k4gbb

It should connect - exit w/ CTL-C
look at /var/log/rms.debug
The log should show a secure connection was established.

If you run up aginst Invalid password or Unauthorized Gateway.
Change AUTHMODE to TEL and contact the Winlink people.
